Jill and Josh

On April 29 Jill and Josh got married in Round Top, Texas. It was really special to get to photograph this Wedding because I have been photographing special events for this family for about the last 6 years. Therefore, I knew lots of their friends who were in attendence at the Wedding. Here is my favorite engagement photo of theirs, followed by Jill's Bridal Portrait. This Portrait is so different from the usual style of Bridal Portrait that I used to do. Some of the techniques I used to make this Portrait I learned from some of the workshops I attended earlier this year. The Viel is the same one her mother wore on her wedding day. Next, is a moment during the ceremony. The next Portrait was taken outside the church. As nice as it was inside I just had to go outside and get this shot too. The Reception was held at a the Outpost @ Cedar Creek (www.outpostinn.com) This was one of my favorite shots at the Reception.

Maritime Ball

This past Saturday Terry and myself took photos at Texas A&M-Galveston's Maritime Ball. We have been providing Photography services for the Maritime Ball for 6 of the past 7 years. We look forward to this event every year. We usually make this a weekend trip and spend an extra day in Galveston relaxing.
This year they decided to have the Ball at the Historic Garten Verein. It was built in 1880 by some German businessmen as a Social Club and was one of the few stuctures to survive the 1900 Storm.
